About Me

Hi there! I'm Sonia Le, the passionate mind behind Cosmo Chic, where I also offer sewing classes for all skill levels. I was born in Zimbabwe, but my family had to flee during a tumultuous time and we settled on a farm in South Africa. From as far back as I can remember, fashion design has been my true calling.

Life in South Africa wasn't always easy, especially financially. But that didn't stop me from pursuing my love for design. I vividly remember sewing clothes for my Barbie dolls using leftover fabrics after my mother made clothes for our family. Those early experiences were the seeds of my passion, and shows like Top Billing and the Oscars only fueled my dreams further.
